Challenge
A banking company had a twofold need: to renovate its workspaces after headquarter restructuring and to encourage collaboration between employees, to reduce organizational redundancies
Insights
HOW4 calculated a series of indicators at the Team level. This allowed to measure the following:
- The strength of cooperation among different teams
- The number and connections of employees working with various Teams
- Team managerial style: interconnected vs. self-sufficient groups
Actions
The company, together with AVA Team, decided to:
- Compare the cooperative situation emerged with the Top management desired one
- Redefine processes in a more collaborative fashion
- Move teams most in need of increasing their collaboration to the same workspaces
